Suggestion following the recent beefalo changes: Grass gator taming :D

Even those two scenarios aside, if you chose to interact primarily with the ocean, you would inevitably be rewarded with a tameable grass gator. The only disadvantage you would be facing with this mechanic is that if your one and only goal is to tame a grass gator as soon as possible, and assuming that this will not be your only goal while playing a world, setting grass gator taming as your main objective would simply be bad overall planning.

I think complaining about not being able to find grass gators would be pointless given all these circumstances, since beefalo taming exists and sailing also exists.

Grass gator taming would be cool. Because getting rewarded for sailing, interacting with the game, with an easier form of ocean travel, that task of the game getting easier, is cool.

Oh I wouldn't dare to call grass gator taming easy:D All cool aspects though, fully agreed on those. Also, in case the wording made it seem a little directed towards you, I was simply referring to the people you were referring to, I hope it didn't come out the wrong way.

Ewecus and Vargs are too aggressive and feral to be tamed I don't think those would make alot of sense.

Putting a saddle on a spider queen exclusively for Webber might be funny though

Honestly I'd say that's not part of the ocean - It's a major land mass that is only accessible through the ocean sure but nothing you get from there has anything to do with the ocean in anyway - That's why I said that in my other post.
