A sudden question that comes to mind, about the Mourning Glory Wreath:

Recommended Posts

     Mourning Glory does not rot.

The only material for the Mourning Glory Wreath is Mourning Glory.

The Mourning Glory Wreath does rot.

The Mourning Glory Wreath has no base effect.

Potions can only be made by Wendy.

The effect of the wreath potion will expire if the wreath is removed.

Meanwhile:

    Petals do rot.

The vast majority of the materials for the Rose-Colored Glasses are petals.

The Rose-Colored Glasses do not rot.

The base of the Rose-Colored Glasses is an item with the same attribute as the wreath.

The effect of the Rose-Colored Glasses remains active even if they are removed.

Why does the Mourning Glory Wreath need so many additional restrictions, especially the rotting and expiration of effects, which seem to be arbitrarily added? I think this design is quite poor.

The fact that wraith's wreath spoil like a garland does not make sense really.

If they are truly set on adding a spoilage or durability mechanic to this item, it would be great if they also introduced a new method to restore durability. For example, durability could remain unchanged when the player isn't using a potion, or being near bigspooks could gradually restore durability.

Just my immature ideas though.

One idea I had was to make it restore freshness when haunted, which would give it synergy with Abi's command. I'm guessing the main reason it spoils is because other players can use it, unlike Winona's glasses. Thus, letting Wendy herself conveniently maintain it permanently through haunt seems like a good solution.

Great point actually, make it spoil for everyone but Wendy. It fits the lore as well.

This sounds pretty reasonable for me personally. I love your idea.
