Want to have Abigail move into a group of enemies and then spook them? Too bad, you have to wait. Want to have her spook something and then go into escape mode? Also not an option. Having them all on the same cooldown is a bad thing because it prevents players from creatively combining commands in fun and effective ways. Also, having separate cooldowns would let us have different cooldowns for different commands (haunt should have basically no cooldown - you can't even spam it on the same thing as-is due to how haunting works, so all removing the cooldown would do is let you switch between haunting different things faster). So, that'd be a good quality-of-life improvement. CremeLover Posted February 8, 2025 Share Posted February 8, 2025 A mod for mapping the commands to your keys and another one to have the cooldowns visible at all times is the way to go, makes it sooo much better to use. Since you are controlling 2 characters, you need pitch perfect precision to maximize dps, which is not really as big of a dealbreaker with other characters, as you take some steps back and use it from a distance, instead of actively interacting with it. I agree at least some of them should definitely have different cooldowns to make it really practical to use. I miss when it let me bypass the cooldowns. Having separated cooldowns would at least be a decent compromise between full control of Abigail and what we have now. Yeah, definitely, both the mod and separate cooldowns. I'm just saying that a mod to see the cooldowns on screen without opening the wheel would be really neat as well for Abigail, since those are commands you are to use quite frequently in a fight. I might get to do it at some point. And making the commands cooldown separate would smoothen her gameplay and add new combat possibilities, so I do hope it gets implemented. Haunt is non-combat (WHY RNG), so shouldn't share a cooldown Scare is too strong as is and needs a longer cooldown to avoid stunlcoks Attack at and escape could share a cooldown, but there's no reason for them ALL to be the same cd. I guess it will be tough to implement or use, so I am not confident in this suggestion. I don't really agree that scare needs to be unable to stunlock things. Maxwell can stunlock things with Shadow Sneak. The rest I agree with. I currently have an unreleased mod (waiting for the official release of the update) to display her cooldown in addition to other QoL features (alt+RMB to drink elixir, context-dependent MMB to cast spells precisely).
