Astro700
I'm probably not the only one facing this problem. I would like to have a way to move my own buildings in our DST world, there are already similar mods in the steam workshop, but I would like to see this in our vanilla game, perhaps even a reinterpreted look, but leave the most important idea of "moving built buildings". It's not always pleasant to destroy a building you built, get fewer resources, and build anew after spending more resources than you got when you destroyed it. I hope I was able to convey the idea correctly, if something is wrong, I'm sorry. HellHeater
I think it would be neat, but it absolutely isnt needed when you think about it. What would this really help with anyway? You typically never have to move a building after placing it and if it were to be costly to move them (maybe with a 85% speed loss) then the feature would never be used because who's going to bother taming a beefalo instead of building another alchemy engine? Cheggf
The hammer moves buildings. If it's made of something very expensive that you want to keep, the Deconstruction Staff moves the entirety of it. Violet Desiree
idk it feels kinda weird to have to use a deconstruction staff on every item in my kitchen area because i misjudged the size of it a small push or pull toggle might be a good qol change Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/163799-moving-buildings/#findComment-1794684 Share on other sites
ChintzyGnat
I see this only really being useful with character crafts and station specific structures like the shadow plinith. mima_
maybe instead of hammering into basic resources, maybe there another kind of hammer that put the structure back into kit version. so it doesnt necessarily took the job of deconstructing staff Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/163799-moving-buildings/#findComment-1794851 Share on other sites
Bumber64
Seems like the kind of thing they could put behind a boss drop, like the antlion turf helm. There is a mod that just lets you use bundling wrap for it Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/163799-moving-buildings/#findComment-1794892 Share on other sites
