Give Pure Brilliance ammo AOE (or gunpowder) the ability to mine/chop

Recommended Posts

Like title says, I think that adding the ability to "do work" on only 1 of these 2 ammos could be really good. To make it more balanced, the explosion only happens if its on a target (like currently). That way you could, for example, make a punching bag surrounded by trees/marble/whatever, you hit it, and then it mine/chops the surrounding. Or shoot anything to proc the effect, like critters.

- In Pure Brilliance ammo case, grenades of it exist, and Winona already does this with her catapults, so pure brilliance ammo causing explosions fits thematically. ONLY the Thulecite Frame's AOE should do this effect.

Make the craft more expensive and to give less ammo per craft. This ammo is already something you are not supposed to spam in combat, so having an utility outside of it will help on making the lunar aligment more relevant and unique.

- In gunpowder ammo case, I think this could be too broken. You can farm it pretty early in the game, and you are already getting 30 ammo per craft. Also this ammo is supposed to be kind of a  "boss ammo", so it having the effect could make up for some messy scenarios.

Still, this ammo getting the effect could be good for early-mid game, specially for farming marble trees, since Walter makes really good use of marble armor (on Woby).

I feel like this would just be a straight net negative you do want to spam them because their a damage boosting round and unlike icker meant to be paired with brightshade rounds making it more expensive and grindy just hammers further how much better the shadow path is.
