Wortox Naughty Nice Penalties

Recommended Posts

The "bonuses" that you get for picking many nice or many naughty perks in my opinion appear to do relatively nothing. I actually find both of them to be mildly negative. If that's by design, then I think that's really cool. If they were intended to be benefits, I think they should be made more powerful. If it was supposed to be a drawback/penalty (which would be cooler in my opinion), I think they should be much more severe. Maybe some of the selectable perks could be buffed to compensate depending on the severity of the drawbacks, but then people might just pick relatively equal amounts of both sides to avoid any penalty. In that case, maybe a third "neutral" tendency bonus could be added. Or well, it wouldn't be a "bonus" I guess, it would be a third crippling drawback that one might prefer over the naughty/nice ones. Does anyone have any interesting penalty ideas? Maybe something that spawns krampus very frequently? I'm not sure how well received such an ability would be.

I planned my build around staying neutral because of the penalties

So you would agree that they're both actively bad? I think it would be really cool if they doubled down and make them even worse and added a neutral penalty so you can't cheat your way out of it. I miss when characters had meaningful drawbacks instead of everybody being Wilson deluxe.

Great idea, let's just actually make base wortox worse so you have to interact with the skill tree. Maybe prevent him from walking so he's completely crippled.

I can't tell if this is a sarcastic reply

Probably a baseline nerf would be unwarranted, I had just felt that it would be interesting to see really powerful skill tree options that come mandatorily bundled with meaningful drawbacks.
