Does it currently just set you to base skin if you chose random? They used to have the option to wear whatever you were previously wearing, and it would be pretty silly to remove that feature. I remember back when you had to cycle through cosmetics 1 by 1, rather than the grid we have now, one of the options was "Previously Worn Item" which would just use whatever outfit the character it picks for you was wearing.
