Radicaljoe
I've been told the portable tent is a great tool for Walter to fix his sanity and health issues. However, I think many people and myself agree that sleeping in a tent isn't exactly... fun. Now, nothing wrong with taking a break, you are literally gaining stats for doing nothing. But I think that watching a tent go up and down for 2 minutes isn't very interesting to watch. I think all sleeping should have a change. I think it would be cool if you gained sanity and health twice as fast, lost hunger twice as fast, and left the tent slightly groggy for like 5-10 seconds for fun. I understand the idea behind sleeping is you're trading time for stats, but I've always seen the trade of hunger for stats(IE: also time because you need to go get food after waking up) Walter could benefit from not being groggy when leaving or something maybe. I'd like other suggestions, this was just a quick thought I had about sleeping. Sometimes I think the changes in Uncompromising Mode are truly excellent. This mod is not just about increasing difficulty; it also offers a series of quality-of-life updates and fixes to some of the original game's unrealistic or unreasonable mechanics, making the experience more aligned with actual gameplay. Yeah I've tried to bring up how the mod gives a lot of very useful quality of life in the past multiple times but it always ended up being derailed by people who can't let go of their grudges with the creators. For me it's more the mixture of really good ideas, with really bad ideas, haha. The former seems to outweigh the latter nowadays, but still. On topic: I would like it if you could open up the map when sleeping. aidankocherhans
I think the health gain rate is good enough (for the tents) but the sanity gain is too slow for me to want to stay just for that, unless I'm currently insane Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/163169-sleeping-buff/#findComment-1786138 Share on other sites

Uncompromising Mode has some great stuff in it, my favourite thing from it is WX-78's rework.
