Waalz
I've seen people who can have more than 10 farm soils in a single tile, but no matter the way I try, I can't have more than 9 farm soils in a tile.. can someone explain If there is any trick to do this or is it not possible to do it anymore? salty_cookie
You can fit up to 16 plants in a tile but it needs such precission that I think you need mods to do it for you. Yifei_
Mod: Snapping tills https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2994102885&searchtext=Snapping+Till However, the pit in the image looks more like something casually dug rather than something created using this mod. GetNerfedOn
While the guide provides the layout for optimal hexagonal layout tilling from scratch is very difficult as due to having closer plots increases the risk of undoing previous tills, so its nice to use the Snapping Tills mod provided. However, a technique that could help is tilling the first spot, then planting a seed in it before you till the next slot. This makes sure that that slot will never get untilled when you move on. Helpfully the recent placement changes allow closer tilling, at least.
