Small suggestion: Shadow Abi's vex dmg pause, and her behavior after 'Attack At' command

Recommended Posts

shadow abi's vex dmg is pretty cool but requires mobs to have the increase, i think it'd be cool if the timer for the buff to pause if she is unsummoned

another idea is that mobs be given tiers or more time upon doing the command, like masque'd spiders get more time, higher tier spiders like warrior variants gets more timer (and if its both they could combine), like 20 seconds per warrior? would add more options than butterflies, and those options would be more troublesome than those so more timer reward

as a side note: after using abi and the attack at command, she tends to not attack the mob i commanded her to go to, would take like 2 seconds for her to resume attacking (yes, i had her riled up, and was within distance for her to attack rather than moving away), is this intentional?

Regarding the Attack At command, it was patched with the Winter's Feast update. I made a comment in this report explaining what her current behavior should be with it now, by looking at the code, I haven't tested it yet though.

Edit: did some very fine tuned testing and it all seems to be working as intended.

I think what you might be referring to is that her "end of attack" state takes a little bit to end, and aura damage is reenabled on exiting it. Then on top of that, it takes 1 second to start checking for targets for aura damage. They could solve this by checking immediately or after a frame when reenabling aura damage for this specific case.

On a similar note, something I honestly forgot to report, is that the swoop attack start and end states can still cause enemies to drop aggro from Abigail due to having the "noattack" tag, which is weird, because the loop state she uses when actually dashing and dealing damage doesn't have it, and she can be both targeted and hit. They might wanna replace this with actual invincibility if that's the intent behind that.
