Small QOL With Skilltree Selection

Selecting skills in a Skilltree can be made better by implementing a "Double Click" feature instead of highlighting a skill then going down to click "Learn" for it to be selected. Also, a small feature to deselect a skill without having to reset the entire Skilltree because you misclicked a skill.

I would also really appreciate it if prerequisites were automatically selected when you choose something deeper into the branch, instead of having to choose every skill one at a time.

I agree that some tweaks for the selecting skills could be improved.

A tweak I would like to see is a way to manage your skills through the compendium.

There is a client-side mod that adds presets that you can cycle through on the character selection screen. It also lets you deselect skills before selecting your character one at a time instead of needing to reset the whole thing: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3211917378

i hope this thread gains enough traction for klei to understand that the current system is tedious and only exists to artificially pat out the game, making the skill tree seemingly more than what it is. in reality the skill tree and skill tree selecting process isn't any more rewarding or nuanced just because i have to perform more silly actions (2 separate clicks to confirm a skill, refunding all skill tree at once, confirming all prerequisite skills to reach the last stage, etc).

this should be basic game design philosophy

I use a client mod that lets me do it and I think it'd be pretty cool to have it basegame too.

I was wondered for a long time of that why right click cannot cancel a skill which was misclicked...
