This is a small hotfix to test relaxing builds for Wortox's skill tree for the weekend. We hope these changes add more choices to be made while keeping to the tree's initial feeling.

Changes

  • Wortox
    • Choosing either Affinity skill will skew The Scales which cause inclinations to happen quicker.
    • Neutral skills will count towards the locks on the Nice and Naughty sides of the tree.

i feel its a bit weird that stuff from the base of the scale would make it tip to 1 side. i can get the affinities affecting scale, cuz its magic and also themed for each side's abilities but panflute's right side doesnt help offense in anyway, its defensive, even

I don't think it's a good idea to view naughty and nice as purely offensive and defensive, most of nice's tree relate to teleports and there's basically only bastion and res that's not about teleports.

nice gets downside of losing more sanity from eating souls, like hes regretful, while having more soothing healing souls, helps control sanity better, making you more incentivized to eat normal food instead of souls. he also doesnt get attacked by racist mobs. my read on it is a bit more passive of a perk to avoid getting attacked, as well as convenient sanity

naughty gets downside of no sanity gain from souls as well as worse healing, and also upside of no sanity penalty, so harder to control sanity, as well as allowing him to go without getting normal food, so no need to set up crockpots. my interpretation is that hes incentivized to rush stuff, kill stuff, and not worry about losing sanity from just rushing things.

its a good mix of theming and playstyle altering stat adjustments, its why i like this skill tree so much

I mean I had a far easier time rushing with nice over naughty personally

It is really intresting idea and it would be completely fine if it stayed like how it is now.

I thought that the lunar affinity will help the nice inclination and shadow would go to naughty inclination
it would make sense because the lunar protects you from harm and shadow deals double dmg, like the skills for each sides
it is pretty good to have the first inclination points be locked by affinity but I think it would be better for each affinity to have the 2 inclination points on each of theire sides, so people could have more different playstyles that would be affected by affinities.
(having 1 inclination point perk affinity on theire respective sides would also be ok with me)

And about the neutral skills unlocking higher tier skills:
Personally I think its a bit inconsistent, because not a lot of people use the Cloudy Carmen skill and so you will need 3 more skills to choose
example: if you want soul pierce you would also unlock Covetous Collector to deal more dmg with them, so it would not need another skill to unlock them, same goes with the soul decoy 3 (for the dmg) 
and for the nice inclination I always use lifted spirit 1 and 2 for mobility and also reverberation, so I do not need extra skills for unlocking higher tier skills.

If the neutral skills would count as 2 (maybe 3 but that would be too good) I could see people using panflutes and the lifbringer 3 + all other naughty skills
