This really isn't a post I made to critique, mostly to share my opinions on the skill tree as a whole, and the things I specifically really like or really dislike! Spoilers, there's barely any things I dislike.

 

Best part about the skill tree in my opinion, is the fact that Wendy got perks that are not tied to Abigail. Her biggest problem used to be that she was worthless without Abigail, and not in a specifically balanced way.

She was useless out of combat as well, so these perks do a great job of giving Wendy non-combat related utility perks!

Worst and just downright deranged part of this skill tree.... Is that they made Abigail an aoe tank, damage dealer, utility haunter, samba dancing Exodia, who also no longer leaves a penalty for dying.

If Abigail gets killed, no biggie! Insta lvl 3 elixir with the telltale heart elixir. 

Let me explain before the torches and pitchforks come running in... I am not against characters being busted, broken or bonkers... Dare I say OP? As long as I find the character fun and engaging, Idc.

However, there being 0 downside to Wendy is just a drag? Wendy and Willow are similar to old Wigfrid and Wolfgang, where they do the same job, but one ended up on top.

Bernie should be the low damage tank, which he is. Abigail should be the aoe glass cannon. If you give Abigail tankiness, you leave Bernie to only be effective against shadows in comparison... And vice versa, if you give Bernie insane damage, he ends up being better at farming mobs than Abigail.

Abigail should not have the player tag, it removes the fundamental weakness of Abigail, it dumbs down the game. She was fine before it.

And that's really my only complaint, Abigail shouldn't be tanky and risk-free to use. 

Everything else is near perfect or just flat perfect in my opinion. But I do have some other suggestions:

- More flowers to be added to the sisturn for different effects, ie. Cactus flower, dark petals, etc, etc.
- Another post suggested this, but reviving lunar moths would be cool
- Picnic Casket being able to store mourning glories and the Wraith Wreathe (making the Wraith Wreathe last longer while inside it)
- Make Wendy's ghost be permanently vengeful if she has the skill
- Maybe an icon next to the sanity bar showing that you're in range of her sanity reducing auras protection
- Being able to change what you've written on a grave (in case of typos)
- Her little revival grave effigy giving off a small light radius (it has a candle on it)

And that's pretty much all there is, the skill tree is 99% perfect, and even if the things I find dumb don't get fixed, I'll still enjoy the skill tree as a an ex, but returning Wendy main!

Besides, it's clear you simply dislike the notion that the option is even presented in the first place, as you are in no obligation to interact with, or even choose, Blessed Sisturn III. 

Team spirit being neglected till the end of beta saddens me. Its not part of the conversation about balancing abigail when it should be the main event.

Why wouldn't you? Its probably the strongest use of 3 perk points she has. Unless I guess you intend to do one of the following:

1. Never go on the ocean, so you never find Lunar Island or Crabby Hermit so you won't have access to lune flowers.

2. You really, really, really want to spend 3 perk points on something weaker.

3. You intend to not play Wendy.

Yeah. The issue is her trees balanced around it being bad (BS) so Im afraid they might not feel the need to buff it. Gonna be a long christmas break.

Have you tried the Abigail with the Lune Tree Skills before creating this post?

The point of the update changes is to punish players who rely on Abigail to face bosses alone or to damage. If there's no Wendy around, the bosses will be aggressive to Abigail alone and deal damages that will eventually kill her.

With Bernie, you can have multiple of Bernies or sewing kit and you're good to go. Not only that, Bernie taunts creatures and bosses to make Willow safe from getting hit.
The Lune Tree Blossoms are only effective for bosses not creatures, and it can be applied for Gestalt Abigail. If you have Shadow Abigail, you can insert the Lune Tree Blossoms. Shadow Abigail is still the old Abigail but with double damages.

Gestalt Abigail no longer have an AOE mechanics. Therefore, she can die so easily if she was left alone with multiple hounds or spiders.

Let the people gets what they want to be able to fight bosses and for Abigail to survive with less effort.

Besides, I've noticed that you seem to hate the fact she is getting some buffs, and you want her to remain weak and useless. Try again.

Also, lune blossom player tag works on both shadow and lunar Abby. Please actually play the game before spreading misinformation on the forums!
