A idea to improve Pipispook Quest skills.

Recommended Posts

I think most players doesn't enjoy this minigame, and for them, assisting pipispook was more of a "work" to collect mourning glory rather then play game. And as we all know, people don't usually spend what they have on work. so spending insight points on pipisoopk skills doesn't yield much positive feedback.

Here's a simple idea to fix this: replace them with more skills like Extra Yield.

Allows the player to consume fewer mourning glory to craft the same number of items, while the Pipispook skill increases the number of mourning glory the player gets from single pipispook.

Given where the mourning glory comes from and where it goes, the two skills are essentially almost the same (allows the player to earn more from fewer minigames), but the positive feedback from Extra Yield is far greater than Pipispook because it's mostly about giving the player something rather than reducing what the player loses.

Also, crafting exclusive items has a far more direct connection to Wendy than the pipispook minigame, and using them instead of the pipispook skills also makes the entire Wendy's perk set more clear and nat.

So what fills the gap created by the pikspook skill? Can you help the designer think of one?

I saw someone propose to increase the fun of the pikspook task, such as adding challenges, making some monsters appear at the end of the task, or being able to perform multiple tasks at the same time, etc., but I don't know if this is feasible...

I have an idea that when we reach the end of the pikspook mission, there is a certain probability that pikspook will turn into a ghost. This ghost will be friendly to the player and follow Wendy all the time, and Wendy can be dismissed; or, add some other interesting things to the end of the mission, I don't know...

首先,提高 Mourning Glory 的价值并使其更有用,否则花哨的操作无法解决奖励不足的根本问题

Firstly, increase the value of Mourning Glory and make it more useful, otherwise fancy operations cannot solve the fundamental problem of insufficient rewards
