New command for abi: Stick together!

Abi will now try her best to move as close to you as she can. If you dodge boss, all you need to do is dodge a little bit earlier if you dont want abi to get hit by AOE. 

This way abi will dodge and attack together with you.

This is a really strong command as:
-Provide light if you run slow enough.
-100% up time on damage buff.

But this solve 2 problem 2 sides of Wendy mains both want
-Increase her survivability without needing potions.
-Abi wont solo bosses on her own. She wont be a tank like bernie.

Please add toggle command (instant effect) to turn on/off Abi AoE or retaliation, it's annoying to waste time for dismissing her & summoning back for certain fights. Also implement maximum stack for all elixirs as only 1 in inventory, this would make players to be wise with elixirs usage instead of spamming one type of elixir. Stick Together! could be useful for Klaus fight, those 1500 hp of both gem deers are a bit low but still doable to prevent Enraged Klaus with current AI just make sure to use mod to check deers' hp and dismiss her if their hp are too low.

I don't think it's a good idea. By making Abi follow Wendy less closely, they made Abi more vulnerable in the battle. If Aby and Wendy are close enough, it means that Aby will hardly be injured.

 

Check out this video. This person modified the file to make Abigail's movement speed and follow range. The effect is that as long as you walk well enough, Abigail will hardly be injured.

I understand it is a really really powerful ability as i mentioned earlier, especially if you understand how to dodge bosses on your own. It should be the last skill along the command line, but this allow wendy to put abi in all current and future boss fight as long as the fight is possible as normal character.

I think this is the original intention of designing the character Wendy. I gradually understood the intention of the design: they like to see us being tortured. Wendy is definitely not a role for beginners. If you want to use her to fight the boss, you will suffer all these: do boring tasks to collect potions; maybe train beefalo and prepare all the saddles for beefalo; repeat the cycle of giving Abi potion in battle - take back Abi - release Aby,even if this may make you attacked by the boss. ;

 

They want us to take care of Abigail while fighting, instead of turning Abi into a pendant, so that you can always fix Wendy as a character with a 1.15 attack multiplier.

 

Perhaps they think that people who like to play DST have a tendency to self-abuse, and they like to put themselves in trouble forever...

If you can dodge everything, yes abi is a pendant with give 1.15 or 1.5 multiplier, whatever, but at the cost of if you fail, you also have to pay more price to heal back up, since both abi and wendy take damage by boss attack.

The video only showed what happened if you dodge boss perfectly, wendy downside still kinda unchanged, abi will become very weak and drain sanity if you fail on your movement.

I donno. Maybe the speed potion could do the same thing.

speed potions require you to move much much earlier and further from boss for abi to move away from boss, aka you need atleast beefalo level of speed to do this. If you fight on foot, this will be much harder without sticking.

是的,我同意,我想这本质上还是一个“强度”和“平衡”问题,因为人们对同一件事的强度和难易程度有着不同的看法。

对于我来说,我可以比较轻松地风筝大多数boss,所以如果温蒂和阿比盖尔能同步,可能对我来说有点太强了,而且丧失了一些操作空间,你可能几乎用不到指令和药水…

Yes, I agree. I think this is essentially a matter of "strength" and "balance", (and also about fun)because people have different views on the intensity and difficulty of the same thing.

For me, I can easily kite most of the bosses, so if Wendy and Abigal can synchronize, it may be a little too strong for me, and lose some operating space, and you may hardly need instructions and potions...

This is a good way for those who don't like potions, but for those who like potion gameplay, it will lose some fun.

So I think it's a better way to give Abi more flexibility and defense, including improving the command feel of team spirit, and callback the damage and survival of the gestalt, etc.

This is a feasible way to balance players who like potion and players who don't like potion. If you like potion, you can not use this skill; if you don't like potion, you can save some trouble.
