Will there be non-skill tree content in the update?

There is no official statement but I highly doubt we will get any non-character exclusive content in this update.

The beta is up for quite a while now, If there was something I belive klei would have relased it until now.

If we look back to the roadmap, it sets our expectations for this. They plan to release character updates and updates to flesh out the constant separately with 4 updates this year. This allows them to focus their work to produce a more fleshed out experience overall.

Beta is extended now so there’s a very high likelihood Klei May sprinkle in some non-skill tree goodies here and there.

I’d specifically love to see more interactions players can perform with “haunt” that are universal to newer content added to the game since haunt was a thing. Yes this ties in with Wendy’s skill tree, but also it would be new content any dead player can enjoy.

even if it’s useless Easter eggs like making dead skeletons dance or Manniquins rotate around in a circle.

useless for anything, but cute to watch happen.

They said they were delaying Wendy because they were unhappy with the visuals. Theres only so many things that could be, esp as the art for mg crafts was recieved well.

Ah sorry though you were responding to the other thread. Im going off this:

"We do still have a small Winter’s Feast update that we want to get out for you that will be released next Thursday since that work is separate from the skill tree beta and it isn’t affected by the delay."
