Electroely Posted December 11, 2024 Share Posted December 11, 2024 The Shield elixir currently reduces the damage of the next hit Wendy takes by up to 50 (reducing it to 0 if it's less than 50). The effect immediately disappears upon activating. The only time I've found myself using this is when I'm fighting a boss with a lot of people and, since I know I probably won't get hit often, I'll forego armor in favor of drinking the potion just as an extra layer of protection. I think it would be much more applicable if instead of disappearing on the first hit, it worked as extra health - blocking as many hits as it takes until the entire 50 damage reduction is depleted. So for example, drink the elixir, take 2 spider attacks for 0 damage, and then the third would do 10 damage. Revenant Restorative, which is much cheaper for Wendy, already provides 60 health (assuming you've got the skill to extend the duration) so I don't think it would be overpowered. This would also make Distilled Vengeance worth drinking. Which it currently is definitely not.
