I think it's a good idea to add a new command in the wheel to keep Abigail more closer, enough close to Wendy, even one or two steps, she wont chase enemy and only attack enemy who near Wendy. And when Wendy starts moving, Abigail will immediately start following Wendy. In this way, players can use their dodge skills to solve Abigail's survival matter. I thought of something like this, Abi manifesting Wendy to get another new bar which will increase when the twins hits or gets hurt then to unleash some sort of skills - also some potions which can only be created while full moon or new moon. Not much you can do with "BIG MINION" like Abi and Bernie, the AI just pulls enemies then gets hurt in the process while never understands the concept of "kiting" & be smart to know your limit so it is what it is. Some AIs are just like range minions attacking from far, exploding/latching minion, melee skeletons, strong big abomination with deadly aura, or immortal minions that only attack if you attack. Of course you can give command to the minion(s) but that's it because sometimes it's better to just let it tank and you deal damage as well - just summon back if it dies. DST is kind by giving you few enemies at the time, not like a horde of 10-30 enemies surrounding you. Current playstyle for 1v1 against tough boss is knowing the pattern then doing normal kiting until you summon Abi in boss downtime then unsummon back to keep Abi alive & repeat. Maybe Abi could latch the target like those shadows on Nightmare Werepig for 3-4 seconds so Wendy could get small window for several free hits or simply add smart AI + dodge wider to avoid some attacks. So it's a juggle between doing animation cancelling, moving Wendy to dodge by WASD, moving Abi by clicking RMB, and pressing a single accessible button for flower command wheel to use skill. I say it's doable unless you are console players since too many inputs required with limited buttons to perform well. I would never want to control Abi because you as Wendy also need to dodge enemies too like how do you dodge together as Wendy + Abi without accessible dodge button. I mean this isn't Starcraft or Warcraft which you can queue command to multiple units? Unless you only use Abi as ghost to fight the boss & Wendy stays safe somewhere. When getting attacked they two both lose hp, encourage players to dodge damage. And as punishment, Wendy will constantly lose her sanity. After all, players are used to fighting alongside Abigail, which was the original purpose of Wendy's design......
