Cassielu Posted December 7, 2024 Share Posted December 7, 2024 To make a long story short, I think there are a lot of skills in Wendy's skill tree that have coincide themes/uses or are too narrowly used, and I wish they could be merged or streamlined. Pipispooks Skills: When Wendy's entire skill tree lacks interesting, useful and unique skills, it's not wise to fill her with three full skills for the same purpose. And its a liitle bit coincide with Replace and Craft gravestones, as you can make more graves to get more Pipspooks, and place them in better places to make the toy spawn closer, such as hermit island, on boat, dock, or at least the land and ocean edge. Merge three Pipispooks skill (with some nerf),. Or make it into something like Winona's shelves, which increase as the number of skill skills you earn Mourning Glory, since most of Wendy's skills now is about them. Abigail's haunting and scaring: scare has always been part of the Haunt, and it's a very large part of it. It's a bit redundant to have two separate actions for each mechanic. Therefore, I hope that they can be combined into a instant aoe haunt, which will also help solve the problem of Abigail's have cd so her haunt not as efficient as the player doing it by themself. Sisturn: Since Wendy got her new potion, Sisturn1 skill slows petal decay to keep the Sisturn activated to upgrade Abigail, has become less useful. Also useless is Sisturn2, which has always been a little useless. They can be merge into one skill. Resurrection Grave, Bigspook grave and Vengeful ghost's: Wendy was able to build two kinds of graves, which is a serious repetition in theme, it would be very concise if they were merged. And, while the Vengeful ghost is quite unique and interesting, it is severely lacking in connection with the other skills. Since we got a new structure about ghost character, why not tie it to this new structure? here are my suggestions: Vengeful ghost and Resurrection Grave merge into one skill, and when you bind yourself to this Grave, you will have the effect of Vengeful ghost. Spawn Bigspook should be given to this new structure as an upgraded version of Skill 2. The common grave already owns the Pipispook. And the evil flower? The dark petals have no special meaning to Wendy since the shroud was removed, and coincide with Abigail's haunting because you can use haunting to transform a flower into an evil flower. This feature is best to be remove. Replace and Crafting Graves: Tthey already the same thing unless you are megabaser that need more grave than worldgen. Crafting Butterfly: just remove it. 40 Mourning Glory for a bug net is ridiculous. Making butterflies with butterfly wings and morning glory is basically a fix patch for Shadow Sisterhood 3, and it doesn't makes any sense beyond that. And, to be honest, I think the "more unique stuff" is the spare time things for characters who thematically/gameplay already clear enough or already powerful enough. Like Wortox, Wurt or Winona, their gameplay is clean enough so that the skilltree can expand wildly on it without making his perk set redundant and bloated. Or Maxwell and Wolfgang both got some new gadgets during their rework update that were independent of their core specialty. But for Wendy now, keeping her core specialty (Abigail) usable in later games is the first thing that matters. Where you could permanantly buff up abigail by filing up the sisturn with the specific flowers in the world Or have it act like the Idol firepit where you can upgrade the sisturn with materials so it becomes more effective.
