Locking Behind Some Pillow is not good for other players and Future Players.

Here is a Choice for Future Players if they want Locked Blueprint.

1. Give up

2. Pirate the Game which come will full and all unlocked everything you lock behind.

 

Denuvo did not solve Piracy btw.

I played hundred of hrs before I brought from steam because Steam offer Great Services.

But I don't mind to go back to high sea or abandon the game.

 

If game don't respect player, why player should respect that game dev.

I assume OP is upset about the 60-dollar Youtooz plushies... I am too.

On a more serious note, skins for special merch is fine, if they implement alternative ways to get it, that's cool too. Maybe at most they could make a toggle to hide all "non-redeemable through digital purchases"  blueprints, so they don't eyesore some people.

The issue was that these are nice cosmetics, but having two skins being locked behind a 90-USD purchase (shipping included)  right this month only (there is no indication the plushies will be sold afterwards), is incredibly frustrating.
I think people (AKA me and OP and probably some other person too xd) want to play the game with silly cosmetics to polish up their bases without having to buy slightly overpriced plushies they wouldn't buy otherwise.
I see that Klei is trying to be cool and nice by giving an extra gift to those who do buy the plushies, but having the skins be purely time-exclusive is just driving-FOMO, and that's kinda bad, especially considering the Youtooz prices. However, from what I read, Corey mentioned they're going to make the tied skins actually obtainable after there aren't any plans for the physical campaigns, so that's good. The only silly nitpick I now have is that I hope they'd be the same quality, as the DST's system for time-exclusive loyal/timeless skins is a bit frustrating but that's like... not that big of a deal.

I don't mean I can't get it. I can get them all. It is just about legal or ethical. I already have copy of the game, so it is only about ethical. ONI is single-player offline game. That all I need to say.

I have overcome FOMO a long time ago. It still makes me think less of people that try to trigger it.
