Blessed Susturns bonus hp should be afyer regular hp, not before

Title.

Basically the bonus hp take too long to accumulate and too easy to lose.

By making the hp activate after Abigail drops to 0 hp, the hp can be accumulated over a longer period of time, and becomes more powerful as its only used when its really needed. It also gives a buffer for Abby to recover some regular hp.

to be honest it should just add 2 extra levels of permanent hp to Abigail that can only be regained at the Sisturn if she dies. That way theres some risk management to it while bringing it more inline with Bernie who just gets a health bump for investing 2 points without strings attached.

I get it, but you have to leave it alone for like 10 minutes giving up most of your damage while you do something else. I don't think it's unreasonable considering how hard bosses hit Abigail

Then why not ask for it to work faster?? Nah, better ask for the unbalance route

i don't think it's unbalanced at all. it is almost like risk management wasn't included in the post, but actually I did bring that up in a different thread. It is currently affected by elixirs and it could be made faster with elixirs or go faster in general. Regardless currently that 10 minutes might not seem like a lot, but it adds up

The meaning of the post is that when Abigail is injured, Abi loses its naturally recoverable hp before losing shield hp.


This will require more operational skills: If players do not want Abigail to die, they should use healing elixirs in a timely manner before the shield is depleted.

My idea would be:
Make abi maxhp become 1200 ( or double her current max hp base one stage, current hp unchanged, only max hp) right when she rest at sisturn.
Hp recovery become the same as normal hp recovery.
All hp recovery potions works.

This way if you dont use potions, or any type of healing on her, Abi will still take awhile to reach 1200 hp.
She can build sisturn near bosses to keep abi's max hp high with the risk of sisturn break if boss come too close.
She can speed up Abi healing by having potions effects.

Why not abandon HP entirely and instead focus on other beneficial effects, such as Abby having a brighter glow around her urn or being able to tend to crops? The concept of fake HP is not very meaningful or interesting.

Yeah, im on mobile so its hard to write up an extensive post. This is what i was going for.

Bro spelled "after" into "afyer"

I don't quite think more hp is what Abigail need now, for it only makes Abogail performs better when facing enemies she already handled pretty well, while providing little actual use when it comes to bosses. Maybe add player tag to Abigail will do? Or planr entity? I dunno…
