letitbe01 Posted November 30, 2024 Share Posted November 30, 2024 I am a PvP player, and I have been closely observing the new beta. In my opinion, Wendy's new skill tree is extremely overpowered. While Wortox and Walter are also decent to some extent, Wendy has become nearly invincible due to the new "Floral Shroud." Previously, Wendy already had the upper hand in a 2v1 situation in PvP, but it was at least possible to counter her by targeting her first. However, with this item, unless you have a way to deal massive damage to Abigail, it is practically impossible to kill Wendy. Floral Shroud essentially grants Wendy "invincibility" by redirecting damage to Abigail. This severely disrupts the game's balance. Wortox, while able to escape easily, was never truly "invincible." And Walter doesn't even come close to this level of power. However, Wendy can redirect damage to Abigail even while she's asleep, making her immune to damage. As a PvP player, I find this to be an unacceptable level of imbalance. I believe Floral Shroud either needs to be removed or reworked entirely. The main strat against bosses was to facetank to have effectively 600, regenerating hp. Also I'm not sure if PvP balance should be a considering thing for DST. There are many broken OP things if you move your view from PvE to pvp tbh.
