The DLC is great!

Recommended Posts

I have nearly 2k hours spent on the game, I feel I know what am I doing.

Today I started new bionic colony, before cycle 30 I lost my first dupe since... IDK, 2 IRL years? Poor Bionic run out of the power in CO2 pit, his O2 tank depleated before I could provide him with more power. RIP!

I feel the DLC offers totally new challenges and I love it! The game feels fresh and now allows for many different playstyles. Great job Klei! Can't wait for the full release! And I just touched first cycles of the DLC, I can see late game got even more new toys

if you just create a new sandbox world to mess around with that can be fun, and can prepare you for the main course

that was my plan initially, but in the end I disabled sandbox and play normal, it's too fun to cheat ;)

It seems my classic approach to gently increase power producers so they didn't eat too much resources while producing CO2 isn't best strategy when all of your duplicants eat power...

I believe I just tripled my lifetime headcount. I had a few astronaut misadventures before, but never on such a scale.

This feels great, I feel there is a totally different puzzle to solve, it's like playing the game for the first time. The DLC requires to face totally different challenges, I absolutely love it! I must relearn everything I already know, because the solutions used before don't work anymore. At least not when you go full-bionic. And that's the best part of the DLC - we can control how much change from known game we want - I decided going full bionic, jumping on deep waters because what's the point of playing beta if I don't play with beta items. But you can also go full classic, with minimal number of bionics, and only apply them on most harsh colonies, that could work too.

10/10, would recommend to a friend (in fact I already had)
