Any plans to reduce the clunkiness of Wortox's Shadow Harvester ability?

Wortox's shadow harvester ability requires you to soul hop and consumes the soul echo afterwards to grant either an aoe hit or a double hit on a target. On paper this sounds fine but in practice the double hit is a very poor reward for consuming a soul echo + taking the time to soul hop, it doesn't do significant enough damage and could potentially be harmful if you plan to use the soul echo to dodge an incoming attack. The reverberation skill helps but it doesn't reduce any of the clunkiness.

The aoe is poor as well, it feels completely outclassed by soul pierce, plus doesn't synergize that well with soul pierce considering the aoe from it handles all the cases you would use the reaper aoe.

Outside of this, the Wortox skill tree is amazing and the changes have been great! this feels like the last piece of the tree that I feel needs tuning before I would consider it to be perfect.

I don't like the current design, either. It's redundant with Soul Pierce and tends to miss a lot on targets like Grumble Bees.

I think it should just do splash damage during a Soul Echo (say, 10-20%?), including to a single target, so it can act as a damage boost and stunlocker. At least this way it wouldn't have some weird anti-synergy with Reverberation, and means you have to manage your Echos more actively.

Idk, i find it fun. Wortox always had higher dps than wilson in a lot of fights because soul hop is faster than kiting and now you get a damage boost after evading an atack

I might be missing the point

Personally I wish that Void Cowl stayed active longer, because the point of boosting Soul Hop's cooldown was to give Wortox some flexibility in combat
and current VC kinda clashes with it in fights like CC for... you lose ramping damage sooner than you get to return to combat

Also I kinda disagree, because for naughty Wortox Shadow Harvester could be de facto considered an overkill, but it's still valuable tool for Nice and Neutral Wortox players
when it comes to bee farming or shredding basic enemies like deerclops, tree guards and etc, which is already pretty generous considering how safe Wortox is as a character

so considering Soul Pierce as the ultimate solution for everything seems kinda negligent when it comes to other builds, but I'm not against potential fixes

I thought pretty early on that shadow would be better for Nice, and lunar better for Naughty. The opposite that you would expect, theme-wise.

I kind of wish shadow was changed to not rely on rift equipment. Kind of like how Winona shadow alignment catapult stuff works early game for her if you get the rose goggles, but her lunar is much more geared late game.

This is true. I usually play on the Switch and I definitely don't soul hop instead of kiting because it's so much worse to control.
