Some people did argue, but most people talked about how to make Wendy better. The Chinese suggestions for Wendy's skill tree are two pages long. There are certainly a lot of complaints, but most of them are constructive. Please don’t ignore their efforts.

The biggest and most fundamental problem in this incident is that klei lacks communication with the Chinese community. As the largest player group, they didn't even send formal employees or agents to communicate.

The Chinese community has been complaining for a year, but Klei knows nothing about it. This is their negligence

I think everyone needs to remember that changes can happen even after the beta. So hopefully they don't freak out if the live version is not to their liking. There's always hope and klei has made those changes before. 

I also think given that Wendy is probably the most popular character in the entire game; klei was going to expect some major push back.

No, it's pretty bad.

Feels like there's 5 or 6 threads just for "wendy is not strong! Prove that shes strong!"

There's also at least one wendy player going into walter and wortox threads to talk about wendy, and to argue for nerfs for other characters so that they don't become as strong as wendy.

By sheer number, Wendy players already dominate this forum. Its like Walter and Wortox can't even get their own threads at this point.
