layangan putus
First time creating a topic so I just get to the point. Personally I think Wilson gaming is always about gunpowder (science): Transmute Ore II: Gold -> Nitre (2:1), for kinda limited material to get. Transmute Icky I: Meat -> Morsel (1:2), for tons amount of eggs production. Torch Toss, potentially could be used as faster ignition although not needed since the standard burning gunpowder takes 5 seconds before explodes. Therefore for the boss fight, I suggest that Wilson gets a reworked skill tree that boosts gunpowder damage from a mere 200 to 500 so ya a stack of 40 gunpowder would have potential damage of 20000 before gunpowder resistant kicks in. (you can wait for 10 seconds before another 20000 damage applied) For the mobs fight, I suggest a scatter bomb or something so Wilson can deal with them easily. Krampus farm near Pig King would be ideal for this gunpowder gaming, you get many morsels (which can turn into eggs for the shell or trade with PK for gold nitre) + charcoal from the Krampus. Is 500 damage per gunpowder broken? Maybe but let's make all characters OP (?) except Wes. ~ Beard & Explosion ~ Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/161254-regarding-wilson-ability-to-match-other-characters-performance-in-the-constant/ Share on other sites

Beetrice
Gunpowder is really boring, though. I want to do a bunch of sick tricks or play dangerously to deal lots of damage, not feed birds a thousand spider corpses Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/161254-regarding-wilson-ability-to-match-other-characters-performance-in-the-constant/#findComment-1762611 Share on other sites
layangan putus
Quote I don't know if this is how to reply a specific comment correctly in the forum, you share the comment in a quote box?. I agree, it's a boring gameplay: Calculate the gunpowder needed to match the target's health pool. Freeze or put the target to sleep so it stays in place. Drop the stack of gunpowder below the target. Ignite it and run for safety. BUT... I genuinely think it's better than kiting enemies or trading damage + healing & armor because I believe every character shouldn't be played in the basic same way or at least each character should have their own unique solution to solve the problems in the Constant (in this case, fighting boss or mobs). This frontline playstyle is quite fun if you play as Wanda/Weremoose/Wigfrid/Wolfgang/Wortox. If you think about it, this gunpowder gaming is just like Wurt's merm kingdom/Willow's ember farm/Wortox collecting soul in a way which you spend a quite time to gather resources to prepare something then once it's done, you can easily deal with everything you want to (different playstyle tho, Wortox blink dodge/Willow's fiery magic/Wurt with the merms); Feeding the birds thousand times is easier but longer preparation than others', that's why I suggest they boost the gunpowder damage for Wilson so more action & less grinding for fun purpose. I am not sure about sick tricks and high risk-high reward possibility with Wilson, need more ideas for that. I would also suggest that instead of gunpowder in inventory slots, how about a barrel of gunpowder so people need to carry it like a statue? The barrel has infinity slot for the gunpowder so you can adjust the damage output to your preference or maybe use the gunpowder to create ammunitions in Wilson character's tab as long as it's within the theme of the 1900s? (Wilson would have "ranger" playstyle just like Walter).
