Once leave beginner's view, Wendy isn't that powerful

Wendy's main advantage is having a cheap, easy-to-use aoe attack follower, which gives her an advantage against enemies like frogs, pigs, spiders, hounds, is very beneficial to beginner players who don't know how to fight.

But once you get out of the fight for survival phase, these advantages become minimal, especially as other characters gradually get cheaper or more powerful aoe attacks or more powerful minions.

For follower, Maxwell is better. Aoe, Winona is better. Damage we have Wolfgang. Tank we have Wigfrid. Willow even is better than Wendy at all of them.

This is especially evident in the post rift content, where the enemies are stronger and fewer in number, and Abigail simply can't survive, making wendy basically a reskin wes.

Of course, many vets will still use Wendy, but more because Wendy is "enough" with their skills, rather than the best shot or at least "nice" shot for anything.

What, in the eyes of people unsatisfied with Wendy's skill tree, think she needs to overcome her issues?

So is a comparative story between a character developed to be overpowered, another that ended up being op because klei is bad at balancing and wendy? Gladly klei didnt repeated the mistakes done with willow

Yes, so I don't advocate Wendy to be "OP". I hope Wendy could do more for the team by her skill tree.

well that something  im kinda opposite of that, im glad if base full of resources that i can spend chill building at base  so i have no problem with other people filling the dirty role of fighting and farming stuff lol

u know what i think wendy instead of having dead teammate dead dealing damage for couple second .. i would love for her to have ability to summon ghost friend to sisturn 
so they can revive at base atleast and no need to walk slowly as ghost to revival stone/base. i think that pretty awesome if there wanda in team then can revived to their body . no need to walk anymore, what a synergy!

so they can revive at base atleast and no need to walk slowly as ghost to revival stone/base. i think that pretty awesome if there wanda in team then can revived to their body . no need to walk anymore, what a synergy! 

Also, enable Wendy to plant flowers/cultivate bees faster (such as a dedicated bug net), and Wendy's cemetery gain better buff.
