a suggestion for a (much less murdery) nabsack

so hear me out; instead of wortox's sack being a bludgeoning tool that requires over-stocking on loot it could instead be used the wall all the other krampi sacks are used; as a capturing device.

if a wortox corners a smallbird, a baby beefalo or other catchable creature(rabbit, mosquito, bee ect) he can keep it in his invo which will break it from its "home". for things like beef and bees this means new herds and unhomed pollinators which can help repopulate worlds that have lost a lot of resources, if he gets desperate this also means he has an emergency soul just like he already does when using traps and bugnets to catch things(this also means wortox players save on a bugnet!).

the thing that would make this special is that nabbing something with the sack grants wortox the same naughtiness points as killing the thing he captured so as to more easily and humanely farm for krampi and get non-winter krampus sacks

also, yes; i know the coding has already been done so it is almost a non-possibility of getting this change fully but perhaps if people agree with this idea enough and a member of staff actually sees it there might be a chance to dial back on wolfganging wortox just a bit and getting a useful perk that isn't tuned exclusively to fighting bosses

yeah, the whole "be like grandpa" kind of puts a spanner in the whole "nice" narrative. it also would make sense for it to be naughty. it was considered a very not-ok thing in his animation, besides, if he is committing to soul-stealing with his whole chest then why not also indulge in the worst aspects of his family's habit and do the one thing that broke him from his old life? live long enoguh to become the thing you hate and all that?

Well, I don't really plan on being that nice with it. If they do that, I think the idea would be to catch bugs, murder in inventory, and run from the souls. With the extra souls we can hold, it would speed up the grind a lot too. I also like the idea of it linking to a shadow chest with the alt interaction to open up a new synergy with Maxwell. Best buddies passing items back and forth. It would also make the need for a full inventory much more manageable.

which is also a useful option. if you murder the thing in your invantory then it is basically double naughtiness for wortox instead

With the crafting recipe, all the more reason to always have webs. It would be speeding up the grab, but the real limiting factor has always been the spawn rate. I think the bug net is a pretty common part of the wortox kit, so an upgraded version would be fitting.

yep pretty much how i was thinkin, and you probably seen my one but i will repeat it again

a bugnet+ so to say that can capture....or kidNAP creatures never before, like pigs and baby beefalo, more so small to medium sized creatures, as well as maybe certain objects aswell like suspicous marble, and maybe even certain crafting structures aswell, you know, stealing it into the sack just like ol krampus done, like the describtion says about wortox being long enought with krampus for his own stealing sack, i will add to it that it has a special inventory that can only hold stealable creatures and items, for balance reasons, otherwise you could fill your inventory with sacks and have invinity item slots

I mean, if they go for it I won't complain. It might look kind of gimmicky, but it'd be a fun trick. I think expecting a 1 to 1 with the animations would limit them a lot on what they could put on the shorts, but it does feel like a missed opportunity
