Catapult 2.0
Although Walter now has many more rounds, most of the functions of the rounds are duplicated, and many of the rounds only damage different pure damage rounds, and still do not significantly increase the DPS.Due to the inability to deal damage quickly, the slingshot is still very weak against bosses such as Fuelweaver, Toadstool, Crab King, etc., which only have a short output window (without taking into account the use of game bugs). Original Rounds: First of all, the recipe for each type of rounds is made from only one ingredient, frozen rounds-blue gem; Slow Rounds - Purple Gem; thulecite rounds—thulecite fragments; Tremor rounds, from the texture of the shape, seem to have to be made of two materials. Poop Bombs: These rounds are currently used for little purpose other than feeding the slurtle in exchange for slime, and it is impossible for us to bring a circle of rounds that can only eliminate the hatred of a single body. Removes the aggro of all creatures of the same type within a certain range. Cause a certain amount of chaos effect to the hit unit for a certain period of time (there are currently no props that can make the unit chaotic). Frozen Rounds: Applies a layer of Freeze to mobs within a certain radius of the hit unit, similar to the Ice Hound. Slow Rounds: Slow down all mob actions, including attack actions and skill cooldowns. Slows down mobs within a certain radius and can last longer. New Rounds: Glass rounds: The first version is very good, please cancel the technology station unlock. Sting Rounds: The function is the same as that of glass rounds, only cheaper, but the damage is too low, and it is actually difficult to use in the early game. Adds a bleeding effect that inflicts bleeding on hit creatures, deducting a certain amount of health per second for a period of time. Tremor Rounds: It can only deal damage, but the cost is higher, and the target needs to be wet, and the damage is the same as that of Morning Star. The current problem is that cost + usage conditions > damage, which is also a problem with Morning Star, and We hope it can be adjusted together to increase some damage so that the damage when attacking wet targets can be close to 100. Gunpowder Rounds: Please keep the current effect and add something new. Gives it a portion of gunpowder's destructive properties, causing a slashing and digging effect near the unit hit, and exploding when it hits a workable item such as trees and ores when using a ballistic shot. Each hit has a chance to ignite the target, and when it hits the burning target, it deals 200 gunpowder damage and extinguishes the flame. Dreadstone Rounds: Dreadstone is a hard material to obtain, 1 Dreadstone = 3Pure Horror, such expensive rounds should have a very powerful effect. High damage, capable of reaching 150-200. Walter needs to increase his dps, and we can make Dreadstone Rounds an expensive but high-damage rounds, which has a high DPS that can match the dps of advanced melee weapons like the Brightshade sword, allowing him to handle some combat scenarios with short output windows. Knocks back the target hit for a certain distance, thus gaining more time for output. Affinity rounds: Walter still uses the Slingshot after the rift is activated, he does not benefit from the Brightsshade/Void set effect, and the Slingshot needs to compete with the more powerful and faster Rift ranged weapons (Brightsshade staff, Gloomerang, and Howlizer) Brilliance rounds and Horror rounds use the Brightsshade staff and Gloomerang effects, and have higher damage to keep dps even, and can also receive set effect bonuses. Brilliance rounds: Each attack stings the target, deducting an additional percentage of the target's HP. Hitting a target inflicts a buff on the target, which increases the target's slingshot damage and increases the effect of the slingshot. Horror rounds: The target that is hit will be hated by the surrounding shadow creatures (including the shadow creatures that are not visible), and the shadow creatures will attack once and then disappear. Brilliance rounds restores a certain amount of sannity when it hits a target, and Horror rounds restores a certain amount of health when it hits a target Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/161115-rounds-modification-proposal/ Share on other sites

I kind of feel like a good idea would be to make Water balloon rounds alongside them that makes enemies wet on contact though they probably are fine as is for a niche option you can use in spring so long as it stays as the heaviest hitting round when the conditions are right. hyoton123
I keep seeing people saying they don't use poop rounds, but they don't draw aggro but can still do damage with crown, or just deaggro single mobs (rooks in particular are good to keep alive and a pain in the ass to deaggro). They're interesting and low cost. Yeah poop rounds have some good uses, one of the weirdest things I have seen with it is that you can cancel deadly brightshades attacks by spamming it and if you have celestial crown it still summons gestalts. Its a bit ironic that you can kill those plants with an ammo made of fertilizer lmao Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/161115-rounds-modification-proposal/#findComment-1760729 Share on other sites

JJ0264
Walter's new rounds should be more than just slow-down and damage rounds, how about 1 tomato + 1 bat doodoo = Smelly Rounds. If your having a big mob of pigs coming, shoot at one of them to get all the other pigs to fight the one that got shot with the Smelly Rounds (0 damage) Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/161115-rounds-modification-proposal/#findComment-1760784 Share on other sites
