Catapult 2.0 Posted November 24, 2024 Share Posted November 24, 2024 Walter's current affinity ability cannot be used until the rift is opened due to the limitations of crafting materials. With the exception of Wilson, almost all of the characters' faction skills are able to have some effect before the rift. After the five skill points of the Wobby Level 1 skill tree are combined into one, the Walter skill tree has only 22 pointable skills, which is the fewest of all skill trees. So it's a good time to add one skill point to each of the affinity skill trees. Walter is a character with a lot of characteristics, not only his slingshot and wobby, but also the characteristics of tents, campfire stories, pioneer hat, brave but afraid of pain,love of trees, not interested in fashion, etc., which will be even more fun to add to the skill tree. Moon sleep: Walter is more efficient when sleeping, the ratio of consumption to recovery remains the same but takes less time, and the recovery speed is related to the moon phase, and the full moon is the fastest. Sleeping in a camping tent grants additional maximum sanity and maximum health, and the maximum amount obtained is also related to the phase of the moon. (The extra max health makes it easier for Walter to stay at full health and avoid triggering a bleeding out of his mind) Shadow Shelter: Taking damage while wearing the Pioneer Hat no longer deducts sanity, and as long as there is a tree nearby Walter can get sanity regeneration, but it will take some additional damage (and should allow Walter to get the Pioneer Hat sanity regeneration cost, although he is not interested in fashionable clothing) Walter can make a portable fire pit and can tell stories during the day, regain his sanity faster when telling a story, and also dispel nearby shodaw hand. JJ0264 Posted November 25, 2024 Share Posted November 25, 2024 Walter's new rounds should be more than just slow-down and damage rounds, how about 1 tomato + 1 bat doodoo = Smelly Rounds.
