Wortox overtuned? Also concerns over base game features vs character features and tools

So. He is high health high healing character with given i-frames plus brightshade protection. There's the souls flying away and forth to deal damage giving him both aoe and extra damage. Now he has even more soul storage than before, a lot more damage, revival ability more convenient than Wanda's from the seems of it, own weapon that does more than darksword and so tell me what are his actual weaknesses at this point because if the top part of the said 'balance' ability isn't punishing enough by pushing himself to have more leaning towards one side or the other then idk what is supposed to be the harder part for this character anymore. Even Willow needs to deal with low sanity threshold or looming cold but her choices allow her to have abilities to kinda negate that entirely.

So far characters are getting AOE attacks which makes weather pain and regular tools seem less appealing which is weird design wise. I guess it's RPG stuff and every character now getting personal tools to do things but it just feels a little sad to see regular tools now looking more and more left behind.

If characters going to be how they are and we'd be getting some kinds of gear upgrades the harder the threats we face I hope everything aligns well enough balance and enjoyability enough cause so far it's been worrying for many and sometimes myself when seeing so many cool perks and mechanics being added to characters but little change to regular items. I guess we'll see where this goes, hoping Klei's got a future plans in order we'd not expect coming.
