Nneyk
I might be biased , for i have played wendy a lot before, but i think her previous way of controlling abigale was way better then a menu they made. Yes , menu is usefull for new abilities , but i ll suggest a way to implement those , while keeping old ones as they were below. But for now , my personal problems woth new ui: 1: it is too uniform. 3 characters beside wendy have it already and it does not look like they are going to stop any time soon. (Uniformaty might be good , but at somw point it just starts feeling borring and repetative. Each character is a new gameplay entirely presumably after all!) 2: it is way too easy to acidently unsummon abigale in a fight. Previously it was unmistakably delibirate. You had to drag flower to abby and thats not what you can do on accident(exept in exaptional circumstances). Right now it is as easy as acidently sumoning shadow workers instead of wariours. That is to say it is something you might really do when operating under stress. 3: it throws away the comfort of playing Wendy.(for a time) Wendy was always a very comfy and relaxed character to play . (Which can be seen in how a lot of wendy mains also gravitated towards farming) But this just throws your muscle memory of clicking the flower to be safe to go away. Which in turn , is annoying. my proposal for ui fixes is to put all new stuff into buttons under abigale's health bar. It is in bo way a perfect solution , but you ll get imidiate acces to the abilityes in one click , will keep previous muscle memorised controlls , and escape the uniformaty of ui. People love new ui , look at how people recieved wx rework! i am oppened to criticism. arubaro
I just place this kind of items in the 10th slot which bind to my mouse extra buttom... is really confortable and i think is a step in the right direction. Other wise we wouldn't be able to have easy access to more actions and would be even worst for the console peasants Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/160895-abigales-new-controls-are-a-downgrade/#findComment-1758835 Share on other sites
Mike23Ua
The way it worked on controller was fine… if the skill tree makes that worse, I’ll personally be pretty p’d off about it. Now i am a firm beliver that there must be a setting for these things , or just two different ui schemes for controller and mouse. But... this is upmost valid! Now i see benefits.(and cons too still) Thanks! Radicaljoe
It kills my muscle memory, and I do not like it. Even without taking any of the new command skills it replaces the flower with the wheel. Maybe make it only swap to the wheel if you pick the commanding skills? I dunno, I'm not a fan of it.
