Wortox's skill tree needs more fun elements rather than more soul caps

I'm actually a little disappointed with Wortox now because it's so boring, and I think there should be more interesting uses for Wortox soul, like soul catapult. Since I have the impression that this is an interesting but not powerful character, hopefully the skill tree will continue to keep this interesting setting.

Yeah, the expanded utility of the souls when they come to you is neat, but I was kind of hoping we would get a new way to use them. Especially with the ability to hold more. That or maybe something a little more out there. I also really would rather see the sack as a utility item over a weapon. I would be fine with even lower damage if it had a higher utility. Just going to use this chance to echo the improved net, catching multiple critters at a time, or maybe since it's on the shadow side, you could also use it as a portal to the shadow chest like Maxwell's hat

For whatever Reason, Klei seems to not want to re-use the games already existing animations. 

There is a “Pet” Emote in the game for when riding on top of a Beefalo, Wortox could have used his souls, which we then see him visibly petting the red float crap coming out his hands (like in his animated shorts) and rubbing that into the fur of his stupid FurCow.

This could be used to Boost the Damage of the Beefalo that Wortox is riding by granting it Soul Energy, and also for soul hops while mounted to a FurCow.

Again… the Petting animation is already in the game, so half the works already done.

the one thing i wish klei to do is changing the knapsack, so instead of a boring weapon its a special bugnet like item able to kidnap creatures and objects even that you could never before could have stolen, like pigs and baby beefalos, and objects like suspicous marple, with the sack having its own unique inventory that can only store stolen things

Honestly, just being able to pick up multiple critters quickly would be enough to get me excited. I don't love that it uses durability to scoop things up either.

Swooping in to recover a friend's inventory could take up to 9% of the tools durability, but i do imagine it will be a little useful on occasions. I just think the utility could be a little more than pick stuff up faster. I guess it's pretty cheap to make though. Wouldn't mind if it was more expensive, weaker as a weapon, and had a decent use for the other 99% of playtime

I think they're trying to head in that direction. Imp-losion is so fun to use, and the effects of soul echo having a couple uses is interesting too.

I hope they make Wortox look more powerful on the evil side. I want him to have simpler yet more challenging kill abilities than he currently has. As for the good side, I'd like it to be about sharing and helping others. It would be really interesting. But right now (I might be imagining things), I feel like the skill tree is quite messy and goes in different directions:apologetic:
