Thoughts on the Wortox skill tree as a Wortox main

When I read the knabsack description I really hoped that it would be something like a mini krampus sack that can also be a weapon with it's damage based on how full it is, the weapon just does really bad damage and also sucks visually, it looks really weird with the default attack animations, at least make it work like a whip or something so it doesn't look as whacky as it does currently, the only cool thing about the naughty side of the tree are the decoys. The souls dealing damage thing is cool but it's way too situational, weak and clunky, imo it would be better if Wortox could throw souls as projectiles instead of that. Overall i think the rest of the skill tree is pretty cool but the naughty side really needs a rework imo.

Exactly. A bag on a stick with no disability, but low damage empty and high damage when filled with rocks or maybe super heavy jars of souls? It looks like it could hold more than Wilson beard. It makes it sound kind of like what the krampus holds, but I've watched that dude put stuff in his. 

I mean I would even take a bag that breaks at this point. At least you could get creative with that to stuff it with butterflies kill one to start getting a chain reaction to deal damage.

Actually it is a bit stronger than a dark sword, and bees and spiders count, with bees being especially easy for mass killing, and I believe that the decoy and soul pierce both have potent aoe for these types of things. Or if you are on a multiplayer server you could just follow around a Webber/Willow/Wendy

Killing 200 bees is harder than going insane and asking local wormwood for 1 living log. assuming you can 2 shot bees it still needs about 2 minutes of pure bee killing. Grandted you only need to do that once and then it is a darksword.

I had the exact same impression from the description, got really disappointed afterwards

I really think the durability is a downside too. Its cheap to make, and you have to keep your inventory full for it to be effective so you'll have the ingredients. I feel like it's a unnecessary hurtle. If it's meant to be able to be so easy to craft, you'll have access to it at any time (wich is good since you have to use a skill point on it. Especially since it's a required take if you want the jars) why give it durability at all

Allow magic Krampus bag to be used like they are in the animated shorts (they legit steal EVERYTHING and shove them into the bag..) it would be hilariously funny to be able to steal baby Beefalo inside Krampus Sack.

Edit: I know that this sounds like a joke, but.. in reality it just removes the function of a Beefalo Bell. Players can Relocate Beefalo herds in game by bell bonding then one by one and ferrying them into new locations. I’ve used this to start herds in Lunar Grotto lol..

So if Wortox was actually able to Krampus Sack nab fully grown adult Beefalo, it would open up new gameplay to:

A- Remove the need of using a Bell to Bond and relocate.

and B: Gives Wortox a hilarious and new way to carry a Beefalo around inside his pocket.

Sure… I guess you might risk getting Sued by Nintendo for it being too Pokemon like… but I’m pretty sure they don’t own the copyrights to catch & release creatures.

As an added bonus a sack full of stuff can be swung as a weapon with even a bit of Knockback swing if enough stuff has been snagged.
