Rinastarry Posted November 22, 2024 Share Posted November 22, 2024 Somewhat concerned about Abigail's ation menu, it adds an extra step to riling up/calming that'll be annoying except when you want to use the new actions. Maybe allow abigails actions to be set as keybinds as well? It's important enough for either side that it should probably be neutral. Nice branch, by contrast, starts off with perks that are of no use solo. Abilities that seem suspiciously like Wanda clocks. Knabsack should probably be able to expend souls for greatly increased damage. (I guess that'd make it like alarming clock, lol.) How often does the free flute activate? Description sounds like you have to be actively holding it as a requirement? And then it wears off if you don't use it quickly? So you just run around with a pan flute praying it activates when you need it, rather than prepping in advance? Edit: Being able to use souls to heal NPC followers would benefit the nice branch. He could craft a disguise (neutral or nice?) to recruit the ones he can't normally, at the cost of using the head slot. Originally Wortox is hostile due to affinity with Krampus, but originally he is nice fella, isnt he? The Moment I saw "The Scales" and inclination, I immediately thought of Fable's System. We see two locks for nice and naughty perks, so I'd like to add few things to them. Nice Inclination - Monsters now treat Wortox as a "human" player, allowing him to live with Pigs, Rabbits, Catcoons etc. Basically allowing him to help the others by taming neutrals. Naught Inclination - Monsters and Neutral Monsters Prioritize Wortox over other players. This would synergize well with the new perks he got, since They require enemies to target him, or be near his souls. It's a soul-infused Backpack-net We got a new weapon via Wortox named Knabsack, which is not a backpack while named such. Has same recipe as a Bug net (minus a rope) and looks as such, yet you cant capture butterflies/Bees (which actually would make sense, since a lot of Wortox players stack up these for quick soul refill). Has same features as a whip, yet has the range of a normal tool. And has AOE Gather, while unable to attack more than 1 target even if they are insects that are in the same proximity. Edit: Also, can we please be able to use souls from Soul Jar for crafting without opening it? I kinda wish there was a hotkey to quick stack Souls into the jar and back, without opening it each time. Yep. gonna echo this sentiment right here which I believe captures the truth very well: Quote It does feel like Klei fell for the misconception Walter is just his Slingshot and Woby. I was hoping for some flavor perks too. Klei, Walter is so, so much more than just Sling & Woby. He's a boy scout, he loves nature, he's a pacifist (kind of), he's allergic to bees, he can craft camping items, he can tell campfire story, he's blissfully fearless, he's indifferent to clothes, etc. You gave him all of these flavorful characteristics and lore, just to discard them all in the skill tree. This is just like when the British colonies for spices, and then give the world toast sandwiches (look it up). At some point it just gets repetative and borring , and all characters share a controll scheme and ui style. Wx-78's rework brought in a new meter , but everyone loved it , for it looked cool and creative. Right now , even without any skills , one click process of riling up abigale needs a menu. And exactly same menu everyone else has. It was exiting with maxwell , a bit allarming but cool with willow , weird with winona , but with wendy it feels wrong all of a sudden to me. Maybe a new ui? Above the flower in your inventory? Or something else new and cool? You are great and creative people , dont say you cant imagine it! Maybe abigale controll ui for new abilities will be near her health meter , and you ll keep existing controlls (retriewing her and riling her up) as is? Just its kinda hard and anoying to forget years of muscle memorie from years of being wendy main. Also its alarmingly easy now to acidently unsummon her. I see the idea , and the petal flower style of the wheel , but really , this ui doesnt work for everyone. Not for wendy for sure. Also: can you please let us corrupt petalls as well? Puryfying them does nothing and doesnt really feel that wendy-ish.
