Teleportation in caves

With many more characters getting teleportation abilities recently, can we take a look at Telelocator Focus?

 

Using it is much more expensive, which IS OKAY, because it's an item that everyone can make. But can we not limit it to only the surface? It would still be much worse than Wanda's watches, Wortox's teleport or Winona's Telepads due to its upkeep cost.

Having a disparity like this makes certain playstyles less fun, fe. basing in the caves instead of the surface.

 

Of course, it doesn't need to be the Telelocator Focus. Though I think it would be really reasonable because of the upkeep cost. Adding a craft that would require multiple Possessed Shadow Atriums would be fine though no? It's really expensive, especially for people not using cheese to farm Shadow Pieces.
