Even though I liked the pumpkin carving very much I felt like it was way too restricted. It needs to be expanded a little bit, like being added to the curio collector so we can access it without the need to be in a world. While carving I often felt the need to increase/decrease the size of the shapes, that would be a great addition, just a double and half size would be enough, also double the number of total carvings possible.

I have mixed feelings. New skins and pumpkin carving are amazing additions that I loved. Void masques... Not so much. The concept is cool but I dislike that they are only accessible when the rifts are open and that new creatures spawn in place of ickers. I would prefer a different, unique way of finding possessed creatures and masques. For example, maybe they'd just have a chance to appear on some of the creatures in their normal locations (bunnymen villages, rock lobster biome, spider biome - where their hosts normally appear). Maybe they would only spawn at a certain sanity level (or only during nightmare phase). With the current implementation of this mechanic I purposely avoid activating shadow rifts/engaging with masqued creatures until hallowed nights are over. :/

I've never been a fan of the default Hay Wall, so the fact that the new Maize Wall looks amazing and while also being free is more than enough to shoot this update to Satisfied/Very. I don't really care for the other mushlight pumpkin skins but they've been gorgeous in other people's builds so I can say that they work. I guess I just like freebies.

I really enjoy the void masks, despite the unintentional issues that followed(there are 15 different rock lobster herds between my cave entrance and the bulb biome. They're so cool and creepy! I also liked the pumpkin carving, gave me a fun reason to farm giant pumpkins.

I adored the concept wholeheartly but sadly didn't play long enough to actually ExPERIENCE the mask parasite ^^" Spawning in some related prefabs sadly didn't lead to much (apart from an agressive undead Wilson :wilson_ecstatic:) So I hope this creature will always be enabled and not just seasonal! (though I always play with all seasons and rifts on)
