Give Walter a bonus for eating jerky

Heres my 2 cents for this whole manifesting of Walter skill tree thats happening on the forum rn

Walter on his short video keeps eating jerky, I think he does the same on other shorts, and in game he is specially good at farming critters for small morsel or even kiting beefalos and **** for big meat.

So pls Klei, a perk that makes it so he gets additional stats from eating jerky would be such a cool thing, Imagine for example Walter gaining 15+ on all stats for each jerky. A morsel jerky would give him 27 hunger, 23 hp, and 25 sanity. That is HUGE, it would paliate his biggest downsides by giving him a """cheap""" way to regain both hp and sanity, while also adding onto his "carefree" personality in like, Walter just lives out of eating jerky lmao.

Edit: I also want to add that a perk like this would give him a more unique playstyle AND more use to a kind of useless drying rack. While almost all players I have seen never use them (or at best they have some on their bases for dried kelp), for Walter players it would become essential and extremely useful.

It shouldn't replace wearing a pinecone hat. So equal levels of hp and sanity are a must.

Pinecone hat needs buffed to make it worth while as a head slot item, making it a jack of all trades weather insulation with both tier 2 winter/summer insulation and 50% rain resist would make it a good item to wear 24/7 even outside of combat.

Yeah was thinking the hat could get the sanity gain boosted to 3.3 for non-walter players with the buffed weather protection. Could be implemented like the "commander helm" as a new craft with upgraded versions of the pinecone hat skins.

Could call it scout leader hat.

Also im pretty sure it does support multiple favourite foods. Wortox gains bonuses from cooked and uncooked pomegranite.

Ngl, been playing Walter recently and have found it WAY easier to just stop and plop out some trailmix when I gotta heal then wait on some jerky. Definitely an Autumn thing though.

 As for the title of the post though, I'd totally be down for a skill in Walter's future tree about jerky bonuses! :congratulatory:
