The freezing mechanism is the main theme of equipment in Bonechill Quarry and Splintershard Cavern, it's a shame that those armors and weapons are kinda meaningless in the boss fight. In my personal opinion, the boss rots could have high resistence to freezing, instead of complete immunity - similar to Don't Starve Franchise!
