Cassielu
Haunt is actually a interesting mechanism, lot of haunt effects are fun or useful. But as the game updates, the developers gradually stop adding anything useful or interesting to the new haunt effect. The last time we got anything about Haunt was Celestial Champion from three years ago - haunting will forcing it do once attack, pretty useless. This mechanism may also needs to keep up with the update. Like giving Wendy a skill that Abigail can haunt. Give Wickerbottom a new book to haunt things. Give those planar entities some unique interaction with haunt or something. What if abigail could possess mobs and do their attacks? Kwaik
I think it would make sense to be a part of Wendy's inevitable skilltree. Outside of that it doesn't make a whole lot of sense. But someone like Winona who one or her talents involving her dying (the rose) opens the door for this. Either Wendy turning into a ghost upon death, or Wendy having a short window to haunt a regular monster for a short duration (this probably is more involved than the devs would like since this would involve too many mobs) Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/160179-haunt-mechanism-may-deserves-more-attention/#findComment-1752895 Share on other sites
