Gloomerang, Deadly Brightshade, Brightshade staff and Shadow trio interaction.

Recommended Posts

The Gloomerang turned out to be the perfet weapon agains Brightshades, due them being immobile and their vines being rather slow if you just rotate around the plants. (also the lunar X shadow faction stuff).

I don't mind that, especially given how effective the BS staff is against the shadow trio(quad).

But I think that we could explore this interaction to add another attack to the Brightshades and the shadow trio.

i wish, rift content being beaten by holding F doesnt sound like a great desing. Even pigs are harder and you encounter them day 1

Yeah, I'm trying to brainstorm some stuff, said that, you can kill spiders(for monster meat) and then werepigs by holding F.

For brightshades:

Once you hit their bulb outside a certain range (two tiles or so), they would throw a "Brightshade Bomb" projectile that deals 15+10(planar damage) towards your location and if you get hit, it roots you similaly to Wormwood's Lunar guardian I:100px-Lunar_Binding_Root.webp.e6f7226ae75afef0a863e9516c59e1c1.webp and calls any nearby vines to attack you, the first attack to hit you will break the root and knock you back.

For The ink squad:

The same premise, if you hit them outside the two tiles range, the inkling that got hit will charge up a ball of icker and then spit it towards you, dealing no damage, but if you get hit directly by it, you will get covered in the goo :image.png.e956fc4f23aec73c9d064744d26ea05a.png calling any of the other two inklings to realize their attack towards you and once you get hit, you get knocked back.

but if they miss, they leave a pool of icker goo on the ground where it lands, that slows you. image.png.86ba1428489ba61b336d2a9122c87447.png

I think that it will at least make the ranged fight interesting, and will make so you can't just go head on pressing F with those weapons.

Wasn’t the point of lunar and shadow rifts so that content from the lunar side helped make content with the shadow side easier & Vice Versa?

The things that confuse me.. is why Brightshade Staff a Lunar Item or Brightshade Sword another Lunar Item is good at fighting Brightshade Lunar mobs, Shouldn’t Shadow Rift content be superior against them & Vice Versa?

Or have I somehow misunderstood the entire point behind Wild Rifts..?

Sounds pretty interesting and fun.
