Kacpert25
I think Icker Jar should be able to stun Rictus after throwing it at him. This way the player wouldn't have to use gunpowder or get equipment from the lunar rift first since the shadow side currently doesn't give ANY option to deal with this Ink Blight Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/159666-icker-jar-should-be-able-to-stun-rictus/ Share on other sites

That doesn't change the fact that the lunar side gives you plenty of options to stun Rictus. Brightshade bomb, brightshade armor and brightshade staff. When the shadow side has NOTHING. This is just stupid. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/159666-icker-jar-should-be-able-to-stun-rictus/#findComment-1747547 Share on other sites
Brotid01
Also thinking about it weather pain, tail o' three cats (little tricky and I do not recommend this), Bramble traps, Bramble husk, tossing a dumbbell, tail slap from werebeaver form, target mode from catapults, eldin spear/lighting strike from Wigfrid, even a balloon from Wes should also do the trick all tested of course. it also makes sense all lunar items have one way or another advantage to the shadow creatures even insight perks and items It encourages you to fight shadows using lunar alignment. Again, I don’t see any problem but you’re free to express yourself and bring this topic in the next beta because there’s no way Klei is gonna fix that just before the release of the update even if you’re right. Echsrick
the problem lies with it being way to restrictive and random of a person even supposed to find out, like who goin to go and just stop to just bomb themself up next to a creepy face? if brable traps work (character spesific) then theeth traps sould work too....but when does one even carry something like that with them anyways? not like the hitboxe of its triggering is even that good, i seen hounds just walk past into a trap field without takin damage before weather pain alsol only used for very spesific boss setups for general carry bramble husk, dumbbell, werebeaver, catapults, eldin spear, and balloons are all character spesific for something that is 1 spesific enemy to be considered it being a counter or being called a good game design Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/159666-icker-jar-should-be-able-to-stun-rictus/#findComment-1747572 Share on other sites

Use Lunar stuff to fight Shadow Stuff and Shadow Stuff to fight Lunar Stuff. Which makes me seriously question what using the inker jars will be intended for when it comes to the Lunar Side. It might be neat to prevent shattered spider aoe or something like that, but that’s assuming shattered spiders become more common place beyond just being on the small and optional lunar island.
