Agree with you there. Most mobs that you go out of your way for the loot is either a one-and-done sorta thing like MacTusk, can be migrated to your base like goats, or raid bosses. Both pure brilliance and void tatters are a conscious effort to farm. I think it was due to many complaints about the equipment not being worth the effort that they buffed them. But I feel like they buffed them too much with the existance of repair kits. Personally I think the repair kits are a neat addition as it's convenient and fitting for something lategame BUT they shouldn't fully repair all equipment. It made the rift equipment cheap enough to use them over pre-rift equipment against normal enemies. Even something as simply as only repairing 50% of melee weapons and armour would be good. That way it's still cheaper to repair these with repair kits but not by too much. Although I don't mind the weapons dealing more damage (although feel like their durability is a bit too high, should be halfed or repair kits only repair half durability). They should be powerful due to you making your world more dangerous and how late you get it. You have to go a hunt down the materials for repair kits each time and you can only get so many during a rift. The Shadow Rifts in particular weren't spawning the dark tatter creatures for hours in my last run. The more players wanting rift gear on a server means less repair kits for everyone else too. A 50% reduction in repairing means doubling the cost on top of all this. I haven't played the most recent patch, but I think the Ink Blights no longer show up every rift? Like its a toss up between them, Rictus, and mimics? I'm probably wrong.
