Frogs have a mouth on the top of their head

a bunch of people might have thought they were crocodile spikes or whatever but no, they have a mouth that chomps during the attack animation.

Not quite! As absolutely sick as it'd be though, they are horns. I assume its a vague play on 'horned toads'.
I checked the animation states, it looks like they're closed in a still image but in the animation itself, the horns are attached to the eyes which turn a bit. They don't move or animate in any other angles or animations much.

You can even see them more clearly in other official works here, too!
