Thank you klei, now i don't have to rollback the world everytime my beefalo dies and beefalo aren't useless in the endgame

still kinda wish it came with knockback immunity but maybe that'll come if the saddle gets a lunar equivalent that's more defense oriented

On the topic of lunar how cool would a lunar bell be? Me and my buddy were speculating that if shadow gives a second chance than lunar could be a mutation bell, going off of how the shadow and lunar Merms differed from one another.

also, what about a Wagstaff saddle? I can see a scrappy type saddle that has like motorcycle handle bars on it, provides knockback immunity by providing your character something to hold onto!

I don't think that the will be need for a lunar bell, as the main purpose of the shadow bell is to ensure that your beef won't die.

But it would be cool to get a lunar/scrappy saddle!

a saddle made of scrap to prevent knockback would be nice

The bell seems pretty expensive to both craft and use in effect for reviving your beefalo.if we ignore the feeling you have for that specific beefalo you may have you can domesticate another beefalo in 20 days the shadow pieces are every 21 days with brush its 15 days for a new beefalo.so logically speaking the bell is not very good.so adding knock-back immunity to it does not seem so out of the question.or even adding a buff to the beefalo in the caves if you have the bell attuned to the beef.im aware the use of making it cost a shadow heart is to give them more uses but still.it could do a tad more to make it more preferable.

So I started to play Wendy less and less as the new skill trees came out and my exact reaction to this new release was excitement in playing her again because of this. What a cool progression now in power. Ruins rush, nightmare, wear pig,[war saddle] set pieces, AFW, Void creature things -> Nightmare saddle. Dope. I would love to see Wendy mains testing and posting stats on the new saddle tbh. It's gonna kill me because it'll take another two months or so to get released on the Switch. 

Is Void Cowl supposed to work with this new saddle? How much beefier does the beefalo become? (I know it's a 60% armor plus planar def but I wanna know how it handles vs boss fights compared to before).

If you consider celestial champion, with enough prep, you can cycle between a celestial champion kill and a shadow chesspiece kill every night. The death of a champ means instant new moon, and the champ prep are lunar storms. 

You are kind of right, but also, there are ways to bypass this.
