Great Depths Worm needs to be wet by default.

Recommended Posts

Depths worms are wet by default. This makes sense because they're worms and worms are slimy, just like tentacles and tentapillars, which are both wet by default.

The Great Depths Worm is, however, not wet by default. This makes no sense because it's just a big depths worm.

I think Klei probably just forgot to make it wet by default, and as a Warly main, this makes me sad because it means my volt goat chaud-froid is missing yet another opportunity to actually use its special interaction with wetness outside of spring.

Yeah please. I don't know why klei is scared of making creatures wet. The morning star has it rough enough.

I'm still annoyed that Crab King isn't wet, honestly. Dude sits in the ocean all day and somehow stays dry?

same for players spit(?) out by the worm

That'd be a fair trade-off. It gets a vulnerability to electric damage by being wet, but it's also even more punishing if you get vored by it.

Since seems like it hasn't been changed yet, I'm gonna bump this for awareness. I just went into the beta and spawned a greater depths worm and it's still not wet by default, unlike normal depths worms (yes, even when you spawn them with console). This change desperately needs to happen.

That would be so cool, we have very little interaction of survival elements during fights
