vonVile
I'm playing on Frosty Planet and accidentally ran out of Phosphorous because I let my Fertilizer ran until I ran out. We need an automation device(s) that monitors how much of an item we have in the base, that will start or stop based on how much of it exists. For example when making Mush Bars we can set it to infinite, but with the device connected set the minimum to start making and maximum to stop. This will stop a dupe from making excess food and allow them to do other tasks. Another for other machines will monitor how much exists on the base and only run when set to a maximum or stop when at a minimum of a resource. There can be 4 versions to make it simple: solids, liquids, gases and food. Knurek
All of the above can be done with the buildings and automation that are already present in the game, like smart storage bins, refrigerators, liquid and gas reservoirs, conveyor loaders or receptacles combined with rail element sensors and more. vonVile
I don't want it connected to Smart Storage. It's better through machinery.
