Questions about Wurt Skill tree

Recommended Posts

I tried Wurt skill tree, so I know which skills I want, and which ones I don't want, but there are some that I don't really know if they are worth it or how they even work. So I hope you can help me about it.

First: Slippery hide or Hydrous healing? Tanking with water looks good, but isn't Wurt tank enough with the merm king and the armor buff? Is it more valuable the healing, even if it is slow? I have 2 points and I don't know if focus on one or get a little of both.

Second:When "Sated sovereign" activate? Like it works when there is a King in the server with one Wurt with the skill? I have to raise it with the skill active? How much long last the king with level 3?

And last: "Sensible swamp fighter" Worth to use or not? Even if you have just one point left?

Thanks.

I been playing with both skills and reaching post rift content, and the amphibian branch is kinda expendable most of the times hahaha…

It’s not because both perks are useless is because both perks boost something Wurt doesn’t really need and that get even worst when you add Healing food, Armor, Jellybeans on top on the high stats she has, and I’m not even speak about issue I have with Wetness.

Now what perk is better?

The real question is, how do you manage your wetness? What’s your playstyle related to wetness?

Personal Opinion:

If you’re planning to keep wetness high as possible all the time, I do recommend you Hydrous Healing, otherwise Slippery-Hide.

the more you know: Hydrous-Healing heals you up to +8 Hp/min Aprox. While Photosynthesis from Wormwood heals you +1 hp each 10 seconds aka +6 Hp/min.

A character who doesn’t really need healing heal more over a character who can’t heal why?

When Sated Sovereign activates?

Every time a Wurt feed the king, the game checks how many perks that Wurt have unlocked in this case related to Sated sovereign, if that Wurt have more upgrades in comparison to the current state of the Merm, The king gets an increase of his Hunger Meter to match the Wurt Skills even if that Wurt leaves or another Wurt with less perks or non-perks feed him, the King is always gonna keep the highest hunger meter possible until he dies as far someone with Sated Sovereign feed him at least once.

Short version if you feed him while having all the 3 “Sated Sovereign” Perks even if you leave, swap character or reset your skills he’s gonna keep the upgrades no matter what.

Now how many days takes the King to dies with the upgrades?

I made a check back in the beta but since klei never upgrade this bunch of perks it should be the same.

By default:

The King of Merms with 200 Hunger start starving at day 8 and finally dies by day 10.

Sated Sovereign I & II increase the Hunger meter by +50 each meaning he can reach up to 300 Hunger increasing the days before start starving by +2 up to +4.

The King of Merms With 300 hunger start starving at day 12 and finally dies by day 14.

For last Sated Sovereign III decrease the amount of hunger lost per day by… I think is 15% but I not sure on that but i know how many days he takes to die so:

Meaning with all 3 perk the King of Merms start Starving at day 14 and finally dies at day 16.

For last is worth it Swamp Pathfinder?

Yesn’t??

Depends??

For sure the range is big so if you’re basing at swamp this per is sure nice for others, also with mudslinger you can take even more value since the Mudslinger creates Swamp mini-arena.

So, the answers are:

If you are playing with friends, basing at swamp and using Mudslinger yes.

If you want to yolo yes.

Or if you considered the other perks S**t yes sure.

Slippery hide is so good is so good what it does is convert all health decrease to a water decrease in engage for when it is using water to substitute for health it takes 2x as much water as you would have lost in health

Sensible swamp fighter is when they get low they will start slowly healing and then return when they are up to snuff also besides the natural healing this is the intend time to use the blood shot

Likely because it's easier to stay bloomed than wet and the healing scales with how wet she is.

Personally I'd go with Slippery hide as keeping your wetness high enough for it the do reasonable healing is just not worth it compared to just using healing food in my experience.

I'd say no but it's up to you at the end of the day. My issue with the skill is that blood shots don't heal enough hp to keep your merms in the fight for long per shot so might end up in a position where your merms are just standing off to the side waiting to be killed due to the skill.
