BabaFisi
I bothers me that you have to choose between the Brambleshade and Brightshade Armor. Why even give me the choice? The general consensus is that Brambleshade is clearly better, so why even have something for an armor that literally gets outclassed the moment you take a skill that is supposed to buff it?! To me, I think it’d be better to give the Brightshade Helm some love. So here’s the change I’d make. With Lunar Guardian I (or II, depending on if this is balanced or not) the Brightshade Armor and Helm will be unchanged. However, Wormwood gains new Crafting Recipes in the Brambleshade Armor, which would remain the same as it is now, and the “Brambleshade Helm”, which would be crafted with 1 Bramble Trap and 1 Brightshade Helm. Design wise, the Brambleshade Helm would have the Bramble Trap sticking out of the top/back of the helm, like one of those feathers you see on Knight helmets. But instead of a feather, it’s a spiky vine. The Brambleshade Helm would take on the feature that the Brightshade Armor currently does, Snaring enemies that hit you. I’d maybe change it so the Snares don’t deal damage, just because the Brambleshade Helm would take on the Damage Buff of the Brightshade helm, and the Brambleshade Armor already providing enough extra damage on it’s own. arubaro
Choosing perks depending of the situation is more interesting than having all of them at once... But the Brightshade Armor snare is so situational, I almost never use it. So I think it’d be nice to have both abilities, rather than one being left in the dust. I find it pretty useful against BQ, moon bearger and moon deerclops and hounds That is the fun part of having different options instead of just 1 predominant item with 384736 perks Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/158756-lunar-guardian-i-should-effect-the-brightshade-helm/#findComment-1740684 Share on other sites
Dr.Webber
I think it would be better if it was designed like bramble shade armor, but with the bam wheel traps thorns on the helmet I’d also make snares look like bright shade-Ified Bramble traps here is how it look: think of a Bramble trap The thorns will be unaffected but the stem would have the color scheme of deadly bright shades Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/158756-lunar-guardian-i-should-effect-the-brightshade-helm/#findComment-1740869 Share on other sites
