HeatAndRun Posted July 29, 2024 Share Posted July 29, 2024 So I've played this update quite a lot from the beta branch, and here I brought some lists of changes I want to see, including QoL and balance changes. Recoil damage should work for Meowl armors. Spoiler Meowl armors have special effect when you take damage. But currently recoil damages cannot activate those abililties. This includes some moves of cannons (Space + Shift / Space + Left mouse) and the Hazard Idol skill of the Bam Bamboozle. Recoil damage should not freeze the wearer of the Colossapphire Helmet. Spoiler This hat freezes the attackers, including yourself. When you have Bloodthirsty power, use the Hazard Idol skill, or self-harm by cannon, you get frozen. Rotwood 2024.07.29 - 17.01.41.09.mp4 Rotwood 2024.07.29 - 17.04.22.13.mp4 Colossapphire weapons skill (Ice puke) should recharge every 20 "hits", instead of every 20 "hitstreaks". Spoiler It's significantly hard to achieve 20 hitstreaks to some weapons without some hitstreak related powers. The precondition is quite hard despite the return is not that powerful. I think the skill should be recharged by 20 accumulated hits, instead of straight hitstreaks. Assume you need to deal more than 1000 damage in a single shot to charge the Gourdo weapon skill. The ice puke feels like that. Also, the synerge with Torchfly goggles are so bad, It's almost impossible to achieve 20 hitstreaks with that hat for now. Cannon shots should not be destroyed by other cannon shots or strikers. Spoiler After the recent content update, now the cannon bullets gets destroyed by other players' cannon bullets, and blocked by other players' strikers. Having more than 2 cannon players feels uncomfortable because they will destroy each other's bullets if they shoot while standing near. Bugbuster's charged light attacks need some buff. Spoiler The concept of bugbuster is interesting, but currently the charged light attacks feels weak. I personally think charged light attacks should have more hitstun. Like the heavy attacks of hammers. Also, faster charging speed will make this weapon better. Dodge speed & distance modifiers should work for cannons too. Spoiler Currently dodge speed & distance bonus have absolute zero effect on cannon dodges, including (Space + Shift) movement. Only runspeed bonus modifiers work for cannon dodges. The problem is, there's no meaning of Apsect of Enigmox / Swarm for cannon players. Some hats hide players' hairs unlike before. Spoiler After the update I had a weird feeling to some hats. Unlike before this update, now some hats hide your hairs. I personally prefer the hats showing players' hairs. Please bring the hairs back! Difference : Let the player see other players' remaining reroll counts. Let the player reroll the remaining powers even if they already got their power in multiplayer. Spoiler I'm talking about the situation that can happen in this type of rooms. For now, you cannot reroll other powers if you already got one in that room, even in multiplayer. I hope I can reroll the powers in that room after choosing mine. More variety of Nimble's challenges. Give powers or upgrading materials for the rewards of Nimble's challenges if you already got the emote. More presets for Character Customization / Emotes. Let the player use 8 emotes at a time. Spoiler Now you only can choose 4 emotes to use at a time. Currently you can access to 20 different emotes except the WIP ones, and there's more to come. 4 slots for all the emotes are so little. There's some blank space in the diagonal directions of emote wheels, so why don't give the player 4 more emotes slots? Mannequin's equipment changes should target the closest mannequin from where player's standing. Spoiler It's so hard to choose the mannequin you want right now if the mannequins are placed close to each others. Rotwood 2024.07.29 - 18.05.26.15.mp4 Mothball fur leggings does not work properly with Gourdo's noggin padder in multiplayer. Spoiler I posted about this quite several times before, but seems like this bug didn't patched in recent hotfixes, so I just post it here... again. In multiplayer the +40% healing bonus of the mothball fur leggings often stop working if you wear the leggings with the Gourdo's noggin padder. (+20% healing bonus) As you can see in this screenshot, I should heal 32 HP ( 20 + 4 + 8 ), but only the Gourdo's noggin padder healing bonus applied, I only healed 24. ( 20 + 4 ). The leggings works fine if you only wear the leggings, not with the Gourdo's noggin padder. That's it for now! I love how there's more content, and much more possible weapon & armor combos in this update! I'm also looking forward to see the "Super Frenzies" in future updates. Thank you for reading!
